High-Performance Shingles
Duration FLEX was first introduced at the International Roofing Expo last February 11-13 in Nashville, Tennessee. This line of shingles is engineered to provide enhanced flexibility and high-quality performance during harsh weather, something that standard shingles cannot do.
They are made with a proprietary blend of SBS polymer modified asphalt. The composition’s rubberizing effect makes each shingle pliable for better durability and toughness, withstanding the stress of expansion and contraction. Moreover, they offer the highest impact rating available: UL 2218 Class 4, which ensures long-term performance in the midst of intense storm conditions.
Equipped with SureNail® Technology
Duration FLEX shingles can help make your roof replacement project a worthwhile investment to pursue. Like every Duration Series shingle, they come equipped with SureNail® Technology. Thanks to the tough-engineered woven-fabric nailing strip embedded in the shingles, you can be sure each one stays in place over your roof once nailed.
In fact, Duration FLEX shingles offer 42% better nail pull-resistance against wind compared with standard shingles. The material’s flexibility also helps the material resist cracks and tears, providing up to 10% more tear strength than ordinary counterparts.

Duration FLEX is manufactured with ease of installation in mind. The shingles’ formulation allows them to lay flat right away, resulting in a clean, finished appearance.
