What to Expect When Your Project Begins

Your project has been scheduled. The day for your project to start is approaching quickly. Now is the time that many homeowners wonder what is next, they wonder about that process that will take place at their home.

Watch this video to see one of our inspectors walk you through a roof replacement in progress.

You will receive a call prior to your project starting to alert you to the date and approximate time the project will begin, when the dumpster and materials will be delivered, etc.  Please know that these dates/times can change with the uncertainty of Mother Nature.

The dumpster and the needed material will arrive at your home the day before the project is set to start. It is best that you do not park in your garage or driveway. Parking on the street or away from your house will prevent you from being blocked in by the dumpster, the roofers and any equipment. This will also help prevent you from getting any nails or debris caught in your tires.

Our catch-all crew will be the first ones to arrive the day your project starts. They will set up a full netting system around your home before the roofers get there. While setting up the nets our crew is willing to move outdoor furniture or any other outdoor decorations out of the way, but if there is anything that is irreplaceable please move it away from the house, or let us know and we will take extra precautions.

Tips:

While the roofers are up on your roof working, they may cause your house to shake a little bit. If you have any pictures on your wall or any valuable items on shelves that are at risk of potentially falling,  please take them down ahead of time.

Cleaning up your yard can help reduce the set up time for the Catch All system. Mowing your yard before the project can also help with the clean up process of picking up nails with the high-powered magnet.

Now you know what the start of project day will look like at your home, you can feel more prepared for the upcoming process.
